If you work in or have an interest in Gaelic Medium education please feel free to join our special interest mailing list to be kept informed about our Gaelic Work Stream. At this stage this involves the co-ordination of information & networking meetings, and resource translation activities.
Meeting 1
Our first meeting took place on Thursday 17th November 2022 with Claire providing some background context for the Emotion Works Gaelic resource development and an overview of what has been achieved so far thanks to the input from staff at Mount Cameron Primary School, South Lanarkshire, particularly CT Ann Quinn.
We then heard from Teachers Rachael Deans and Emma MacDonald at Condorrat Primary, North Lanarkshire who began using Emotion Works in their Gaelic Provision a few months ago.
We finished with some discussion about our next steps for further translation activities, possible areas of funding for printing and distribution and opportunities for collaborative working.
Watch a recording of the meeting if you missed it!
Further Meetings
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thurs 18th May, 3:30pm when we’ll be showcasing the resources that have now been translated, and sharing examples of Gaelic Medium practice from around the Emotion Works community.
