Before you start, take a look at this example of Emotion Works in practice at Dunblane Primary School, Stirling
As a Primary Teacher or Practitioner – simply work your way through the Launchpad from top to bottom and left to right, pausing at the end of each section to put things into practice. Focus on the Bronze content initially, checking in with your colleagues and School Leads if you’re embarking on the Emotion Works programme as part of a whole school roll-out.
Here’s our Getting Started Teacher Checklist for the Bronze section and content to keep you on the right track
If you’re taking on responsibility for overseeing Emotion Works implementation in your school, or looking to be involved in applying for a School Award, we strongly recommend joining us for one of our monthly Implementation Training sessions. This training is also recommended for teachers who’d like to work towards becoming an Emotion Works mentor in their school.
At the training we’ll go over all the steps included in our Getting Started Implementation Guide and Checklist for School Leads and help you see how easy it is to combine getting set up and started with Emotion Works in your school with achieving a Bronze School Award.
